Does my car charge here?

If it has a CCS2 (Combo 2) connector, yes. It's the fast-charging standard on most electric cars sold in Brazil. There's also a 22 kW AC charger with a Type 2 connector here, which serves plug-in hybrids and other models with that inlet. If in doubt, check the car's manual.

Questions about the Pinhais unit

How do I get to the Pinhais charging station and where do I park?

The station is at Av. Maringá, 2729, in Pinhais, near the BR-116 and about 15 minutes from downtown Curitiba. The charging spots are marked and exclusive to electric cars, under cover: you pull up right next to the charger.

How much does it cost to charge here and how do I pay?

The session is started at the charger itself. You pay for the energy the car consumes, in kWh, plus a connection fee per session. You start it from the charger's QR code, and the amounts appear on screen before you begin. Payment is by credit card or wallet balance via Pix, with no attendant needed on site, and the receipt arrives by SMS or email.

Can two cars charge at the same time?

Yes. There are two independent chargers: a 60 kW DC and a 22 kW AC. While one car uses the fast one, another charges on the AC. And the DC also has two CCS2 connectors.

Which connectors does the station have and will my car work?

The fast charger is CCS2, the standard on most electric cars sold in Brazil: BYD, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, GWM, Renault, JAC and Caoa Chery, among others. The AC charger uses Type 2 (Mennekes). If your car has either of the two, it charges here.

Is there anything to do nearby while the car charges?

There are restaurants, cafés and shops next door, and the station runs 24 hours a day, every day. The space is covered and well-lit, so you can charge in the rain or late at night without leaving the dry.
